Saturday, March 3, 2012: Join us at the historic Sunrise Theater in downtown Southern Pines for an evening of great entertainment as MIRA hosts the area’s best and most unique acts in the first Sandhills has Talent Competition. Friday, April 20: The second annual Raleigh Dining in the Dark returns to the elegant North Ridge Country Club. Guests will meet several of the area students with their MIRA dogs while enjoying a wonderful meal at this beautiful club.

Saturday, April 28: The elegant Pinehurst Member’s Club will be the venue for the Sandhills’ third annual Dining in the Dark Dinner. Plan to attend and enjoy some great food that you won’t be able to see as you will be wearing a blindfold! Returning guests will have the opportunity to laugh again at the antics of last year’s headlining entertainer, ventriloquist Steve Brogan. Call the office for more information (910)944-7757

Saturday, May 05:Classic cars from around the state will be gathering at the harness track in Pinehurst to take part in a day of fun and family activities centered around the display. Food provided by Outback Steakhouse, several raffles will be ongoing.

Saturday, May 19: We travel to Aiken, South Carolina and the Houndslake Country Club to introduce the Aiken and Augusta area to Dining in the Dark. Ventriloquist Steve Brogan will be joining us with his entourage of hilarious puppets who have a lot to say about what’s going on in the world. Mark your calendar for an evening filled with revelations and humor.

Date to be Determined (Fall): Raleigh will be the site for MIRA’s first VisionWalk organized by some of the outstanding business leaders in the Raleigh area. More info after the first of the year.

Saturday, September 15: Cycling Goes to the Dogs! DC to Mt. Vernon  To cycle with us, contact Steve Link at stephen.link@rcn.com. Ride in Washington, DC or your local community, we simply ask all riders to consider raising funds towards the collective goal of $60,000.
